Pacman Frogs gets his home renovated…

Seamore, our mouse eating blob of a frog, has been not so hungry lately. He has been spending most of his days buried under his dirt, and when we give him a mouse he’s not interested. He’s even let one climb all over him. What kinda man eating frog is he? Obviously a lazy one…

We came to the conclusion that his laziness is because he wanted his tank remodeled. He wanted some new decoration to give him the will to do more then just sit still.

We found that pets shops charge *HUGE* sums of money for plastics deorations for our man Seamore’s tanks.

Hence we become inventive, and took the remodle into our own hands. DIY style all the way.

We headed to our local Big Box Corporations, for great deals on renovating the frog tank.

We purchase:

  1. Bag o’ Medium Size Stones
  2. Dried Lotus Flowers
  3. Fake Plastic fern
  4. Fake Plastic Leaf

Total: about $7 bucks

You too can make an awesome tank for your little critter.

Here’s how we went about it…

Seamore’s Original home… we just upgraded the tank size, it sure seems a bit empty.

Original Tank

First we make a Zen garden pathway… With all that killing he does we figured that he could use some Zen in his life

zen stlye rocks

The Zen pathway leads to his fern enclosure, perfect for hiding waiting to chomp down on some poor little mouse.

The fern Relaxation Tent

The newly renovated tank features include a Zen garden lined dried lotus flowers, fake ferns and bamboo palm trees. This wonderful renovation was all done for under $10!

The final Setup Pacman

Hopefully this new style cage will pump a little motivation into our frogman Seamore.
